The Tree of Life is one of the most brilliant webtools I have seen that shows our relatedness to other living things. Brilliant.
This video sets it up for us, showing the evolutionary diversification over time. Descent with modification has made our living systems what they are, from the bacteria to the moss to the turtle to us and our cousins the chimpanzee.
Wow. It still amazes me that it took four billion years of evolution for an animal to evolve that understands evolution. :)
